Building 1516 opened fall 2010 and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design LEED Gold-certified residence hall. Building 1516 provides double and single rooms with private bath accommodations to all residents. Located adjacent to East Campus Village, it is near the Ramsey Center for Physical Activities, University Health Center, Hugh Hodgson School of Music, Lamar Dodd School of Art and the Georgia Museum of Art.

2017 participants will have all meals at the Village Summit dining hall.
The Village Summit is located on the second floor of Joe Frank Harris Commons and offers a spectacular view of east campus. Specialty stations at The Village Summit focus on made-to-order items: pizza at Giorgio's & Co., omelets at Egg Works, sandwiches at Upper East Side Deli and Blue Steel Grill.
The Food Service program at the University of Georgia is nationally recognized as being one of the best in the nation. Since 1986 the department has received 67 Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards for Excellence, the National Restaurant Association Great Menu Design Award, the Food Management Industry Leadership Award, the IFMA Silver Plate Award for College Food Service Operator of the Year – 2002, and the prestigious Ivy Award for Excellence. The department has also received 13 culinary awards including the Bronze Medallion at the National NACUFS Culinary Challenge. Since 2001 our culinary team has competed in every Regional NACUFS Culinary Challenge and has received 6 Silver Medallions and 6 Bronze Medallions.
